Pooling Customer Service and Material Coordinator

General:

Quality Auditor
Position DeDescription:
- Communicate with aviation authorities and representatives of Air Carriers for such activities as periodic audit, requirements of regulations and proposed changes to the Quality Manuals.
- Establish and fulfil the periodic internal quality audit procedures to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of LTS.
- Evaluate subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the quality system of LTS. Maintain the lists of approved subcontractors/ suppliers.
- Coordinate compilations, maintenance and revision of the Quality Manuals or guidelines related to the quality system of LTS.
- Support the other departments to ensure they understand and comply with the policies and procedures of LTS as well as the airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities
- Draft Logistic specification for GTA signed with Logistic supplier related to customs declaration, commercial inspection and quarantine;
- Control the customs declaration, commercial inspection and quarantine cost with GTA terms and claiming for any deviation;
- Prepare necessary documentation and advise customs handling agency suitable business model according to LTS" different business purpose (such as normal commerce, leasing, repairing and EDI) once receive shipment pre-alert from logistic planner;
- Create and release PO related to customs VAT, Duty and handling charges with correct costs and charge numbers in VISear system;
- Select customs declaration, commercial inspection and quarantine suppliers and manage these suppliers according to contract;
- Control assigned supplier to pick up goods from customs warehouse and send them back to LTS warehouse;
- Create and release PO related to customs VAT, Duty and handling charges with correct costs and charge numbers in VISear system;
- Co-ordinate customs handling agency with on site inspection for goods customs declaration, commercial inspection and quarantine.
Requirements
- College degree, preferring the major in logistics, international business, aviation/aeronautic engineering, Knowledge of aircraft components concerned and, if necessary, materials and any relevant processing, methods;
- With customs declaration, commercial inspection and quarantine certificates;

- Plan and define a suitable method to maintain an agreed material service level; mornitor mateiral service levle accordingly;
- Define adequate material requirement for new capability development such as new product type development with support of Product Engineer if applicable;
- Assist purchasing department MM-PU to develop new supplier, maintain existing supplier;
- Assist purchasing department MM-PU to develop new subcontractor, maintain existing subcontractor;
- Search for PMA parts and follow LTS relevant PMA parts procedure as well as coordinate and balance the inventory QTY of OEM parts against PMA parts;
- Initiate activities associated with development of fabrication parts by LTS as well as coordinate and balance the inventory QTY of OEM parts against PMA parts;
- Support Product Engineer on quotation and searching material supplier associated with repair development;
- Support purchasing department by providing necessary material information for contract negotiation;
- Incorporate statutory regulatory requirements as well as customer requirements into material planning, warehouse management process;
- Work with Customer Management to determine LTS or customer provision of missing parts and high value parts. Follow up customer provided parts shipping process accordingly;
- Work with production, production control and customer service for parts swapping due to long lead time of shortage parts and subcontracting parts, etc;
- Maintain material part master, maintain information in system with lead time, supplier (if applicable) list price and interchangeability;
- Define material receiving inspection level;
- Coordinate with purchasing, transportation and customs to make sure material provided on time;
- Support customer service to meet customers" material request;
- Other tasks assigned by responsible Manager;
Requirements
- University degree majored in aviation/aeronautic material/engineering, or any equivalent education which is considered suitable for the job;
- Knowledge of relevant airworthiness standards, regulatory requirements by following a successful participation in a regulations training course;
- Project leading experience is preferred;
- Knowledge of relevant part of LTS quality system, quality procedure stipulated in LTS RSM, OPM, etc;
- Knowledge of maintenance sequences and systems at LTS, knowledge of LTS data processing applications and logistics sequences required for their tasks and experience of handling technical documentation, such as CMM, IPC, SRM, SB, etc.
- Basic knowledge of business management ;
- Knowledge of aircraft or aircraft components, process concerned and, if necessary, materials;
- Knowledge of dangerous goods definitions and classes, as required.
- Sound knowledge of computer applications;
- Fluent in English speaking, writing, and reading;
- Accountability and self-motivation
- Ability to withstand stress, self-confidence and decision-making drive;
- Work independently and confidently;
