RDG (The Route Development Group) is a family of inter-related products, partners and associates that aims to be the leading global solutions provider for the strategically important ‘route development’ sector of air transport. The Group specialises in working at the interface between airports and airlines and, in doing so, it promises to make a major economic difference to those airports and to the regions and countries in which they are located. RDG is committed to both the commercially sound and to the environmentally sustainable growth of air transport.
Routes, as an important part of RDG, has been organising the World Route Development Forum for 14 years. This event is the first one in the world to be the annual global gathering of the world’s airlines and airports dedicated to discussing and planning new air services. In other words, Routes is the place where the world’s airlines and airports decide where you and I fly.
Aiming to provide better service to our clients, RDG started to organise regional route development forums based on the Routes annual events. Airlines and airports can work out more effectively on who has the most potential to become their partners, for most of the attendees are from the same region.
ASM (Airport strategy and Marketing) is another subsidiary of RDG. It was founded in 1993 and was the first management consulting company specialising in the field of route development for airports. ASM works exclusively for airports, helping them expand their route networks and have assisted numerous airports secure new air services, build their revenues and develop their regions. The results it has helped airports achieve clearly support the claim as the world leader in this field.
