Job Purpose:



 



The main purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of
Manufacturing Engineering activities in support of a business. Using the
methods described in corporate process landscapes to validate and/or execute

are delivered on time to the business.



 



Key Accountabilities (But not limited)




  • Developing, implementing, validating, maintaining and continuously

  • Creating, maintaining and/or govern elements of the Technical Package

    judgment. 

  • Identifying and developing opportunities for new or improved manufacturing

  • Managing and maintaining the integrity of business related data in
    support of manufacturing processes. 

  • Identifying, document and share best practice; capture and utilize
    lessons learned and planning and managing activities, communicating
    current status to relevant stakeholders.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years related working experience.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent together with substantial
experience of working in a Quality and or Manufacturing role.


• Experience of root cause analysis, problem solving / 8D
investigation methods and process improvement techniques. 


• Experience in terms of containment activities and be able
to provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.


• A strong customer focus, able to effectively influence and
challenge appropriately to manage customer expectations.


• Experience of running Kaizen events, understanding of
Advance Product Quality planning (Production Part Approval Process (PPAP),
Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans with the ability to
coach others on practical application of these tools.


• Lean six-sigma Green Belt or Black Belt accredited is
preferred.


• Experience working within the supply chain would be
beneficial, but not essential.
